A primary school student who was tested for Covid-19 on Sunday, went to school on Monday, and later received a positive result.
Chapel Downs School in Flat Bush in Auckland, is now closed for deep cleaning.
One mother is furious it took two days for parents to find out there was a positive case linked to the school.
The child was only at school for half an hour on Monday morning, and was confirmed positive that afternoon.
Now other students are being encouraged to get tested.
