Māori patients disappointed bowel cancer screening age unchanged

From Checkpoint, 5:43 pm on 8 September 2020

Māori bowel cancer patients are disappointed the Ministry of Health will not drop the age for Māori and Pasifika to get onto the national cancer screening programme.

The Ministry's own expert advisory group recommended the age should be 50 instead of sixty but that's been rejected because the current programme is already under pressure.
