Auckland secondary students are getting a further boost to their NCEA credits, to make up for being out of the classroom during the Supercity's second lockdown.
Bonus credits were announced for all NCEA students after the first lockdown.
While teenagers in the rest of the country get one bonus credit for every five credits earned, Auckland students will now get one bonus credit for every four they've earned.
Macleans College principal Steven Hargreaves told Checkpoint reporter Nita Blake-Persen the news is welcome at such a tense time.
