The Prime Minister is managing expectations over the next step in the Covid-19 alert levels, which she will announce on Friday.
Jacinda Ardern says Cabinet will err on the side of caution when making a decision about whether Auckland's ready to move out of alert level 2.5, and if the rest of the country will return to level one.
There were two new cases of Covid-19 today - one in the community and one in managed isolation - and Auckland health authorities say they're quietly confident they're on top of the cluster.
