Children's Commissioner urges criminal age be raised to 14

The Children's Commissioner has launched a big push to get the criminal age of responsibility raised to 14.

At the moment, a 10-year-old child can be charged with murder.

Many in the sector are backing the commissioner's view, but say it's important to consider who would then be responsible for very young offenders.
