The third round of wage subsidies is leaving chain stores with Auckland branches out in the cold because of the devil in the qualifying detail according to Retail NZ.
Businesses that have or will suffer a 40 percent loss in revenue for any consecutive 14 day period between 12 August and 10 September compared to last year are eligible for this latest wave of government help.
However there is a 'but' that is catching some businesses out.
