The final round of netball's ANZ premiership has been called off due to the change in Covid-19 alert levels around the country.

Netball New Zealand has declared all matches a draw but still hopes to go ahead with the finals weekend in Invercargill next week, where the defending champions the Central Pulse will play the Mainland Tactix in the grand final.

Netball New Zealand chief executive Jennie Wyllie told sports editor Stephen Hewson they expect to make a decision on whether the grand final goes ahead early next week.
