Questions raised over mental health needs in managed isolation

Suzanne Marie Derrett was showing signs of emotional distress on the night she fled from Auckland's Pullman Hotel - only halfway through her required isolation period.

Today she was denied diversion and handed down a six month suspended sentence.

Our Otago-Southland reporter Timothy Brown was in the Dunedin District Court for today's sentencing, and filed this report.
