Australia limits number of international arrivals

Australia is halving the number of international arrivals it will allow back into the country to ease pressure on isolation facilities across the Tasman. The Prime Minister Scott Morrison made the announcement today and says all states will now move toward charging for quarantine stays. It comes as the state of Victoria records another 288 new covid cases today. The Guardian's political reporter Paul Karp reports.
