Auckland hotel residents not told of managed isolation plans, again

From Checkpoint, 6:13 pm on 6 July 2020

Residents at Auckland's Stamford Plaza Hotel are livid they were not consulted for a second time that people returning from overseas would be in managed isolation there.

Last month the government proposed the hotel as a quarantine spot, but the 300 residents who live in the building raised concerns, and busloads of people were instead diverted to Rotorua.

But residents now say new buses arrived last week and most of the concerns they raised in the first place have not been fixed.

RNZ's Sally Murphy filed this report.
