The Government has launched an independent inquiry into who leaked the private details of people who have tested positive for Covid-19.
Queen's Counsel Michael Heron has been appointed to lead the inquiry that is expected to be concluded by the end of the month.
RNZ and at least two other media outlets have seen the personal information of the country's active Covid cases, as of last week.
