Bad news for Blues: Barrett's off to Japan

Buoyant Blues fans received a bad news reminder this morning. With the team riding high, unbeaten at the top of the Super Rugby Aotearoa table, first five Beauden Barrett confirmed he will take up a club contract in Japan next year. The sabbatical is part of the four-year deal the All Blacks star signed with New Zealand Rugby and the Blues this time last year. But while the Blues were well prepared for it, Clay Wilson found out the announcement has been a shock for long suffering supporters.
