Australian border isolation tougher than NZ - NZ traveller

A New Zealand resident in mandatory isolation on Australia's Cold Coast says its seems much stricter there than it is here and he has not had physical contact with another human being for ten days or breathed fresh air since he transferred hotels.

Trevor McKewen been denied an exemption to visit his dying brother in hospital and is now 10 days into 14 days of isolation.

Lisa Owen speaks to Trevor, who says he landed in Australia he was initially put in a Brisbane hotel - where they took away his room swipe card.
