A large manhunt is underway in Auckland on Friday night after a police officer was shot and killed in West Auckland.
Two police officers were shot - and a member of the public hit by a car - during a routine traffic stop on Reynella Drive in Massey this morning.
One police officer has since died and every officer in Tamaki Makaurau is now armed as authorities search for the shooter.
