Covid-19 payments expose need for welfare reforms - advocates

Welfare advocates say the new unemployment benefit for people out of work because of Covid-19 highlights the need for sweeping changes to the current system.

From Monday, people can apply for the new payment which is almost double the existing jobseeker support.
