The minister in charge of New Zealand's spy agencies, Andrew Little, is refusing to deny he has signed off on embassy break-ins.

On Sunday he declined an interview on this issue but on Monday afternoon he spoke with Guyon Espiner who began by asking him about the SIS breaking in to the Czech embassy to steal the Warsaw Pact codes.
