Covid-19 level 2: Gatherings up to 100 allowed after Friday

Church services and gatherings of up to 100 people have been given the green light to take place later this week.

It comes after another day with no new Covid-19 cases in New Zealand - our third day in a row with zero cases.

That's given Cabinet the confidence to allow some more freedoms under Level 2.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Monday said increasing gathering sizes, including religious gatherings, would come into effect at midday on Friday.
