Children's charity Bellyful finds itself with $12,000-worth of unwanted Air New Zealand credits after it was forced to cancel a training conference in Christchurch due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The charity just wants a refund. It's volunteers may not be able to attend a future conference and the much-needed money could be better used supporting needy families through the pandemic.
But it says Air New Zealand will not budge.
And as Louise Ternouth reports, while the government urges us all to support domestic tourism, frustrated consumers say that's easier said than done.
