The promise not to get political over Covid-19 has gone out the window, with tempers running high in Parliament on Tuesday afternoon.
The Prime Minister was forced to defend a controversial memo her office issued in relation to last week's document dump.
The National Party is threatening to withhold support for crucial legislation because of the ten person limit for tangi and funerals, describing it as inhumane.
But Jacinda Ardern is holding firm, saying after a lengthy discussion Cabinet agreed to the limit - that also applies to weddings and church services - as they've all proven to be high risk events for spreading Covid-19.
