The devastating SkyCity International Convention Centre fire that burned for three days last year has been ruled an accident.
The convention centre's roof - a Fletcher Building construction site - ignited on an otherwise-normal working day in Auckland's CBD last October.
The smoke lingered over the city centre for weeks as investigators began to dig to the bottom of how it all started.
