Health workers' unions hope that an external review of personal protective gear, PPE, mean they never again have to worry about facing a pandemic without protection.
The Auditor General announced it would do an independent review of how the Ministry of Health manages and distributes PPE supplies to health workers.
The review will take four weeks. But those on the frontline remain nervous the shift to level 3 next week will place more pressure on already stretched supplies.
