Teachers, early childhood centre staff fear level 3 reopening

Some early childhood teachers fear their centres could become major breeding grounds for Covid-19 outbreaks if they are allowed to reopen after lockdown restrictions are loosened.

The government says children up to year 10 should stay home if they can, when alert level 3 comes in, but there will be no checks to ensure only parents who cannot work from home are sending their children to class.
