Covid-19 Alert Level 3: What does it mean for businesses?

From Checkpoint, 5:15 pm on 16 April 2020

Businesses operating under Covid-19 Alert Level Three will be able to stretch their legs somewhat - provided social distancing and health and safety measures are in place.

The Prime Minister has stressed face to face contact, unless with your bubble, should still be avoided.

For companies with well-oiled online shopping and delivery networks it is good news, but for others it is going to be tougher.

Forestry and construction has also been given the green light if and when the step-down happens, but while it is a semblance of normality, Alert Level Three will be far from business as usual.
