The Finance Minister has given the country a sneak peek at what Alert Level Three and two might mean for those longing to return to work.
Addressing the Epidemic Response committee, Grant Robertson, told MPs the next stage was allowing businesses to reopen providing they can meet a set of public health principles.
That's much more freedom than what New Zealanders were given for the brief period the country was in Alert Level Three before the lockdown.
