From Checkpoint, 5:12 pm on 23 March 2020

Supermarkets are among the essential services that will continue to operate during the level four lockdown and the government is urging people not to panic buy over the coming days.

They say there is plenty of food to go around. Pharmacies and other food supply chain operations are also among the long list of services that will keep running.

Checkpoint reporter Nita Blake-Persen and camerman Nick Monro spoke to some of them from a distance of two metres - here's what they had to say.
