Australia has moved to ban visitors from Italy as the country marks yet another spike in deaths from the Covid-19 virus.
On Wednesday Prime Minister Scott Morrison made the announcement that his country's ban will extend from China, Iran and South Korea, to those from Italy.
Australian residents returning from Italy will have to be quarantined for two weeks, following screening at the Australian border.
He also announced over $2 billion in primary and aged care and hospitals.
The country's Health Minister Greg Hunt said Australia is also investing in finding a cure.
