Major NZ events keeping eye on Covid-19 spread

Meanwhile a Shia Islamic centre is closing for at least two weeks in an effort to stop coronavirus spreading in its community.

Other gatherings and public events are largely going ahead, but with an increased focus on hygiene.

This comes after the fourth person confirmed with coronavirus here had been to a concert at Auckland's Spark Arena last Friday when he may have been contagious.

Events say they're keeping a close eye on the spread of the virus, but at this stage, the risk isn't large enough to pull the plug.
