On Friday afternoon Pharmac has announced that from Monday patients will face limits on the amount of paracetemol tablets they can access via prescription in the wake of the coronavirus.
Although there is currently enough stock to meet four months of normal demand, Pharmac's director of Operations Lisa Williams says the manufacturing plant in China has been quarantined which will inevitably impact supply.
