Covid-19 outbreak may deal double blow to Pacific economies

The coronavirus outbreak could deal a double blow to the fragile economies of Pacific countries.

Travel restrictions have been imposed by most of the region's governments, with flight numbers slashed and cruise ships turned around.

Already, the economic impacts are being felt in countries like Samoa, which was hard-hit by the measles epidemic late last year.
