Detective stood down in Brisbane car fire killing investigation

People who think they've suffered a miscarriage of justice will soon be able to raise their complaints with a new Criminal Cases Review Commission.

It will open in July and be based in Hamilton - a deliberate move to distance it from the big bureaucratic and judicial centres of Auckland and Wellington.
