The New Zealander of the Year Award winner will be revealed at a star studded event in a few hours time.
The top category's finalists are Peter Beck, Jane Harding, and Jennifer Ward-Lealand Te Atamira.
They hope their nominations will highlight the challenges in their respective fields.
