Hundreds of cyclists make tribute ride for Brent Norriss

Hundreds of cyclists have left Parliament as part of a tribute ride for Brent Norriss, who was killed whilst cycling on State Highway Two near Wellington.

The 65-year-old died after he was hit by a car outside a BP service station on February 3, 2020.

Monday's memorial ride will pass the service station en route to Petone to highlight cycle safety.

RNZ reporter Charlotte Cook was outside Parliament as they set off.
