Taika Waititi has won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for his World War Two comedy Jojo Rabbit.
The film was nominated for six awards in total, but has so far missed out on Best Supporting Actress for Scarlett Johanssen, Best Production Design, Best Film Editing and Costume Design.
Winners include Brad Pitt for Best Supporting Actor, Laura Dern for Best Supporting Actress, and Best Screenplay to the South Korean thriller Parasite.
