After a contentious referendum and months of messy politics, tomorrow the UK will officially cut ties with the European Union after 47 years.
That means New Zealand companies operating in Europe, or exporting to it, are about to embark on a new trade era with the two powers.
NZ firms are not in line for any immediate shocks, with Brexit Day on Saturday (NZ time), just the start line for another year of negotiations.
