Winston Peters' personal lawyer and the trustee of the New Zealand First Foundation has threatened a $30 million law suit against a National MP, in the latest twist in the donations scandal.
The Electoral Commission is considering a complaint about the use of the Foundation for donations, and whether New Zealand First has met disclosure obligations.
Accusations have been flying but today Nick Smith was told that if he repeated allegations he's been making - outside of the House - he'd find himself in court.
