Is the man accused of murdering British backpacker Grace Millane a calm and calculated killer, or a young man who panicked after a sex act went wrong?
That's what the jury in the trial of the 27-year-old accused have today been asked to decide, after hearing the closing addresses from lawyers for both the Crown and the defence.
It's the Crown's case the man intentionally strangled the British backpacker in his apartment last December.
He denies this and his defence team say she died during consensual rough sex.
RNZ reporter Sarah Robson has been covering the case.
