Samoa rushes to vaccinate population amid measles crisis

Samoa has confirmed that sixteen people have died from measles, as New Zealand sends more nurses to help contain the escalating epidemic.

There are warnings that people travelling to Samoa over the upcoming holiday season should ensure they are immunised,

While some have laid the blame for the epidemic on New Zealand for exporting the disease this year, Samoa's national emergency agency has taken full responsibility.
