From Checkpoint, 5:44 pm on 13 November 2019

The Crown's key witness in the murder trial of a Dunedin doctor has been accused of making up a stream of lies to cover his own involvement in Amber-Rose Rush's death.

Venod Skantha denies killing 16-year-old Miss Rush in February last year.

The prosecution's key witness took the stand for the third day and faced a grilling from the defence.

RNZ Otago-Southland reporter Timothy Brown was in court and filed this report.
