Members of the public have again tied coloured ribbons to the fence around Auckland's Catholic Cathedral to honour victims of sexual abuse.

On Friday a survivor of abuse at the hands of a predatory priest gave his evidence to the Royal Commission, at the end of its second week.

Mike Ledington described the horror of the ordeal he and his two younger brothers went through.

RNZ reporter Andrew McRae has been at the hearing and filed this report.
