Teen mums join NZ Opera to write lullabies

A group of teen mums have partnered with the New Zealand Opera to pen personal lullabies for their babies.

It's part of the international lullaby project - launched by New York's Carnegie Hall in 2011.

For the first time, the project has reached New Zealand's shores, with great results.

RNZ Youth Affairs reporter Katie Doyle and camera operator Claire Eastham-Farelly visited the unit in Auckland to hear the special songs.
