Competition alive in 'Olympics' for Māori elders

The Olympic games has come to Whanganui - but not as we know it. More than 50 kaumātua - Māori elders - have taken part in the Taipahake Olympics - trying their hand at javelin, shot put and even a bit of line dancing.

And as RNZ Māori news correspondent Leigh-Marama McLachlan discovered - the spirit of competition is alive and well, despite many admitting their bodies aren't what they used to be.
