It's been 48 hours since Orewa man Mike McClennan went missing, and his family and the police say their search for him is reaching a critical point.
The 75-year-old has dementia and was last seen on Wednesday evening.
A well-known family in rugby league, he's the father of Brian McClennan, the former Kiwis and Warriors coach.
And as our reporter Sarah Robson reports, police say it's a race against the clock to find him.
