Spark Sport wins broadcast rights to NZ cricket matches

Spark has scored another point in the battle to become the home of New Zealand sport, by securing the rights to cricket played here.

Spark Sport has wrestled the rights to broadcast the Black Caps and White Ferns matches played in New Zealand for six years from April from Sky TV.

The pay TV operator has already admitted dropping the ball by losing this year's Rugby World Cup rights, and today's news sent its share price diving to record lows.
