The police have just finished a briefing following the arrest of a man for Christchurch builder Michael McGrath.
Michael McGrath, who was 49 when he went missing, was last seen in May 2017 at his Halswell home.
His disappearance led to a high profile investigation into his whereabouts, with his family saying it was out of character. Today the police announced a 51-year-old man has charged with Michael McGrath's murder and is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
