Police are searching for a man they describe as a sexual predator following two separate attacks over the weekend.
In the first attack, a 17-year-old woman was abducted from the New World supermarket carpark in Mount Roskill last Friday afternoon, dragged into a van, driven away and sexually assaulted.
In the second incident, a 29-year-old was dragged into a van from a street in Blockhouse Bay on Sunday night and sexually assaulted.
Police say the man they are looking for is dangerous and have named him as 62-year-old Murray Edward Thomas Robertson.

Robertson was driving a silver-grey Mazda van, registration HTW761.
Police are continuing to look at CCTV footage from the New World carpark.
