From Checkpoint, 5:44 pm on 11 September 2019

Health officials have been accused of using patients with depression as guinea pigs by changing an anti-depressant drug to a generic one.

The comments came at a Health Select Committee on Wednesday, where a petition was presented calling for an inquiry into Pharmac's patient safety protocols for generic medications.

RNZ political reporter Charlie Dreaver was there and filed this report.
