Māngere locals fed up at wait for fixed public toilets

From Checkpoint, 6:25 pm on 9 September 2019

Locals in the South Auckland suburb of Māngere are fed up the council has not fixed their public toilets since they were damaged in January.

The men's toilets in the Māngere Town Centre have been closed for the past three weeks because of water damage and flooding.

And every time it rains water also gets into the ladies toilets, making it a slippery health and safety hazard.

RNZ reporter Jessie Chiang went to take a look.
