Meth bust at NZ border - Customs seizes 500kg

Enough methamphetamine to supply the country's users for six months has been stopped at the border in Custom's largest ever bust.

Just under 500kg of the class A drug was found in a shipment of electric motors after an investigation into a trans-national drug syndicate.

And authorities say overseas drug syndicates are targeting New Zealand.
