Pop-up clinics open as measles spreads across Auckland

From Checkpoint, 6:12 pm on 2 September 2019

More than 800 people in Auckland have now caught the measles, with more than 50 schools and a similar number of childcare centres experiencing cases this year.

More than 20 Auckland secondary schools have been notified that a student attending a school ball on Saturday night may have had measles - and any unvaccinated students were today urged to stay away from the college.

Free pop-up clinics set up to offer vaccinations without appointments in the city have been kept busy.
