A Wellington apartment owner facing skyrocketing insurance premiums is demanding the government take over the natural disaster insurance industry.
Wellington City Council this week hosted the first of three meetings to give feedback to the government about the effect the price-hikes are having on the city.
But while talks are going on, a downtown apartment owner says people like her are being bled dry.
